EMBOLDEN Team Members Invited to the 2023 RSC G7 Research Summit on Healthy Aging

EMBOLDEN Co-PIs Drs. Ganann and Phillips and Postdoctoral fellow Dr. MacNeil were recently invited to participate in the 2023 Royal Society of Canada’s G7 Research Summit on Healthy Aging, November 13-15, 2023. The event focused on interdisciplinary collaboration to explore new paradigms for preventive care, including built environments that facilitate healthy aging for Canadians in all stages of life.

Also in attendance were MIRA Scientific Director and Associate Scientific Director, Drs. Raina and Beauchamp. Dr. Raina was invited as a panelist for the Policy and Infrastructure discussion that explored the healthcare system from a policy perspective, including the demographic implications of an aging population, aging in place, and human rights.
